About Dennis
Dennis has over 20 years of experience in law enforcement and over 24 years of experience as a private investigator, including almost 12 years as the official investigator for Coughlin, Leuenberger, and Moon PC.
Notably, Dennis was the lead investigator in two high-profile law enforcement wrongful death cases in Bend, OR, one of which settled for over $1 million in 2016, the other for $800,000 in 2018. He worked for and with attorneys Jennifer Coughlin of Bend, OR, and Michelle Burrows of Portland, OR, on both cases.
His areas of expertise include plaintiff and defense work in civil law, workers’ compensation, product liability, wrongful death, personal injury, family law and criminal, including extensive experience investigating sex crimes.
Dennis serves the entire state of Oregon, specializing in Eastern Oregon and the areas surrounding Bend, La Grande, Ontario and Baker City. He has also conducted follow-up work for Oregon cases in Washington, Idaho and Utah. In total, he has been in 35 of Oregon's 36 counties during his career as an investigator.
In addition to his services as a private investigator, Dennis offers process serving and consultative services. He is also a Notary Public.
Dennis obtained his B.A. in English with a minor in Justice Administration from Brigham Young University and speaks French and conversational Spanish. He currently resides in Baker City, Oregon.
